Belgian Colonial Lottery painting in the workshop.


Special artwork created by Al Georg that illustrates the lottery created in 1934 with the aim of raising funds for the sick in the Belgian Congo.
Acrylic painting on canvas fixed on a rot-proof rigid plate. Design constructed by special ancestral nails in black steel. The heads of the Creole earring nails are gilded with pure 24 carat gold leaf.
Size without frame: 49.5 x 62 cm.
Size with frame: 51.2 x 63.7 cm.
Black Nielsen aluminum frame.
Thickness: 2.7 cm.
Weight: approximately 4.75 kg.
Under the influence of light, the nails sparkle differently like stars.
