Special artwork created by Al Georg depicting Marie José Sombo, a Congolese radio and print journalist, considered the first black women journalist in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She played a fundamental role in the recognition of Congolese women journalists since the end of the colonial era.
Acrylic painting on canvas mounted on a rot-proof rigid plate. Drawing constructed using special ancestral black steel nails. The heads of the earring nails are gilded with 24-carat pure gold leaf.
